My daughter had the opportunity to go to a local farm this year with her school. She was given a wheatgrass kit to bring home. She was so excited to water it everyday. As with all 4-year-old children, the danger is in spot-watering. The centre area of the tray had the annual rainfall of a rainforest and all other areas had the annual rainfall of deserts… Anyway, Mama usually watered a second round after she did, so after a week, we got to make wheatgrass juice!
- a handful of wheatgrass
- 10 to 15 green grapes (for sweetness)
- 1/2 cup to 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup ice (optional)
- Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender.
- Pour mixture through a sieve. Discard pulp.
